Jack A. Wall — Chairman, UNT System Board of Regents
Mr. Wall was appointed to the Board in November 2007. His term expires in May 2013. Wall received a B.B.A. from UNT, is a director of the UNT Foundation and serves on its investment committee. He is also a member of the board of advisors for UNT's College of Business and the UNT President's Council. A rancher and investor, he previously served as branch manager, partner and senior vice president of J.C. Bradford/UBS Paine Webber of Dallas. He lives in Dallas. |

Michael R. Bradford
Mr. Bradford was appointed to the Board in August 2009. His term expires in May 2015. Mr. Bradford received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business administration from Texas Christian University. He is Midland County Judge and an oil and gas producer. He is president of the Natural Resources Foundation of Texas, founder of the Natural Resources Institute, and chairman of the Conference of Urban Counties. Throughout his career, he has served on several commissions and boards, including the Finance Commission of Texas. He is a member of the Texas Supreme Court Advisory Board on Children’s Issues and past director of the Texas Lyceum. He lives in Midland. |

Don A. Buchholz
Mr. Buchholz was appointed to the Board in November 2007. His term expires in May 2013. He received a B.B.A. from the University of North Texas and received UNT's "Outstanding Alumnus Service Award" in 1999 and the "Distinguished Alumnus Award" in 2001. Buchholz is Chairman of the Board of Directors of SWS Group, a publicly owned holding company. He lives in Dallas. |

Milton B. Lee
Mr. Lee was appointed to the Board in May 2013. His term expires in May 2017. Mr. Lee received his Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. He is a registered professional engineer. He is recently retired as the CEO of CPS Energy, a municipally owned electric and gas company serving San Antonio. Mr. Lee has held a number of prominent positions in the electric utility industry, including serving on the ERCOT Board of Directors and Technical Advisory Committee and the Texas Public Power and Large Public Power Associations. He has also served on several medical research boards and educational foundations in Texas. He lives in San Antonio and works in Austin. |

Steve Mitchell
Mr. Mitchell was appointed to the Board in August 2009. His term expires in May 2015. He received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in UNT’s five-year accounting program. He is a lead business systems analyst for Thomson Reuters. Mr. Mitchell served as Richardson mayor from 2007 to 2009, and he has served on the Richardson City Council since 2005. He is a member of the Commission on State Emergency Communications, Dallas Regional Mobility Coalition and Richardson YMCA Board of Directors and a past member of the Richardson City Plan Commission and Sign Control boards. He lives in Richardson. |

Donald Potts
Mr.
Potts was appointed to the Board in September 2011. His term expires in May 2017. Mr. Potts is founder of Capital Institutional Services, and an institutional broker and dealer. He is a member of the American and New York Stock exchanges, Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Dallas Security Traders Association, and Securities Investors Protection Corporation. He is a member of the Alliance in Support of Independent Research, Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association, National Center for Policy Analysis, Chief Executive Round Table, Dallas Citizen's Council and UNT President's Council. He is also a board member of the Hope Cottage Foundation and UNT Foundation, a member of the UNT Foundation Executive Committee, and chair of the UNT Foundation Investment Committee. Potts served in the Texas National Guard. He received a bachelor's degree from the University of North Texas. Mr. Potts lives in Dallas. |

Brint Ryan — Vice-Chairman, UNT System Board of Regents
Mr. Ryan was appointed to the Board in August 2009. His term expires in May 2015. He received his bachelor’s and master’s of science degrees in UNT’s five-year accounting program. He was named a Distinguished Alumnus in 2009 and received the Outstanding Alumnus Serviced Award in 2003. He was also named Alumnus of the Year by the Department of Accounting in 1997. He is Chairman and CEO of Ryan, LLC, a leading international tax services firm headquartered in Dallas. Mr. Ryan is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Texas Association of Business Executive Committee, and is a board member of the Texas Taxpayers and Research Association. He lives in Dallas. |

Gwyn Shea
Gwyn Shea was appointed to the Board in November 2007. Her term expires in May 2013. Shea attended the University of North Texas and Dallas Baptist University and graduated from the Dallas Baptist University Police Academy. She is a certified police officer. Shea served as Texas’ secretary of state — the top elections official in the state — from 2002 to 2003. Elected to the Texas House of Representatives in 1982, she represented the Irving area for the next 10 years. She lives in Irving. |

Al Silva
Mr. Silva was reappointed to the Board in September 2011. His term expires in May 2017. Mr. Silva is COO of Labatt Food Service. He is board chair of Generation Texas, a member of Texas Cavaliers, and past chairman of Episcopal Community Services for the Diocese of West Texas and Alamo Heights Independent School District Board. He is also a past board member of Junior Achievement of San Antonio. Alexandria C. Perez
Alexandria C. Perez has been appointed by Governor Rick Perry to serve as the 2012-2013 Student Regent on the University of North Texas System Board of Regents. Ms. Perez has recently graduated from the University of North Texas at Dallas with a degree in Criminal Justice and will continue with her graduate studies in Criminal Justice at UNT Dallas. Alexandria plans to attend the new UNT Law School. |

Provides staff support to the Board of Regents and manages the daily operations of the Board Office. Coordinates all aspects of the Board meetings. Develops meeting agendas and materials. Handles inquiries from internal and external parties relating to the Board of Regents. Manages the Board of Regents content for the UNT System website.
