More than 350 System staff enable the components of the UNT System achieve their extraordinary accomplishments in education, research and health care. These employees also drive the visions for the future, such as the UNT College of Law.

What does my job title really mean:
I work on public policy issues impacting the UNT System.
What is my education and some past achievements:
After graduating from the University of Texas with a history degree, I worked as a freelance reporter and at The Austin Chronicle before joining the UNT System's Austin office. I went to law school at the University of Miami, where I was a fellow at our Community Health Rights Education Clinic and Senior Articles Editor of the UM Law Review. I then practiced law at Hunton & Williams LLP, focusing on First Amendment, media, and commercial litigation.
What brought me to the UNT System:
I worked for the UNT System Office of Governmental Relations before law school. When the opportunity arose to return to Austin and work on public policy, I was excited to rejoin to the UNT System.
What I like best about my job is:
I love working with such talented and committed people on issues that genuinely make a difference in people's lives.
If I ever leave work early, I can probably be found:
Enjoying Austin with my husband Dan, and our son, Ben, who was born in September.
People would be surprised to know that I:
Am a big baseball fan.
The most interesting thing that I have learned since working
for the UNT System is:
I have been fascinated to learn how much the System has to offer both its students and the North Texas community.
